It’s never too late to be what you might have been.

I wonder if flickr will censor me or shut me down for being so forward as to announce my PHOTOGRAPHY show on their PHOTOGRAPHY website!

Four things got me to this point. I am one to rarely ever accomplish anything I set out to do, or that is, finish anything I ever start. Well, 2007 has been a very different year. It actually started with my wedding back in October 2006, maybe in a little further back when I started on flickr, July 2006…

I started to do something, I started to follow through on things, get things done. I have had ADD for years, since I was a kid, but it has been progressively worse for me as an Adult.

So, I started yoga in January 2007, a nice fresh start to the new year. As with many, starting the year off with exercise program rarely lasts more than a few weeks. Well, I got hooked on the power of yoga and I am still practicing 7 months later, and it is just the best thing I have done for my health and mind.

In yoga, I learned about Intentions. I made an Intention this past April to do something significant with my photography. I made an intention to put up a website. And, to put on a small cafe show. I wanted to do this all in 6 months. So, I worked with my husband and together we went into business, formally forming Steele Logic Consulting, LLC, with pixieclipx.com part of Steele Logic. John put together my pixieclipx.com website, still working on it, and I went forward with my plans to put together a coffee shop show.

While away in Boston this past June, I ran across a postcard ad for a local Hull, MA photographer. Her PR postcard was so well done and it just inspired me to keep on working towards my goals to someday put on a show, to sell my photos. Thanx, Midge!

I know that I am just an amateur photographer, but I also have a unique quality to my photography and I do take some good pix.

I have now reached the final step for my first big Intention, and I will be opening up my first cafe show next Friday, August 3rd. I have learned so much about putting on a show, about costs and expenses, about marketing, about doing business.

I thank my husband for his help and all his support. I couldn’t have done this without him.
